Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 - It was a HUGE let down. They really dropped the bomb on this one. The 1st was so good and actually watchable. This one, well, it was just so stupid and dumbed down.
Extract - Hilarious, and wonderful. Mike Judge made a hit with this one... one of his better films!

I've been waiting for this movie... and was iffy on buying it, but will be going back and buying it.
It's great...and blew idiocracy out of the water.

Avatar - Luckily I got to see this at Arclight Cinema in Los Angeles. We were in the Imax 3D Dome and it made one amazing experience, visually at least. I enjoyed the story, the creation of this new world, but the effects are what made this movie, no doubt. Also, Arclight is such a classy place to see a movie. They have very high standards - there was not one person with a cell phone on, not a peep out of any viewers, it was just such a good experience. If ever in the Sunset area of LA, go see a film in Arclight.

district 9 was ok im glad i saw it on the big screen. Myself i think that is what made it. dont think it would be as good on the tv at home.
